My Blog

January 3, 2008
I live in a 1940's house in a city in Kentucky, I have lived in Florida, Ohio and Las Vegas. I have always felt like the Neal Diamonds song, where he sings" LA's fine but it aint mine NY York is home but it ain't mine no more". So I have settled and love the hills of Kentucky. Such a wonderful place and a awesome place to reflect and walk some extended life paths.

I am very very intuitive -occasionally I read Tarot Cards it allows us to reach into each others of a moment or two...maybe for ever. Mostly I work in my studio where I design ART Quilts and a few other things, purses, real quilts, pillows. I design from my heart always reaching out to others. I have found great international post card exchanges, with a different approach our post cards are quilts. I would call myself a mixed-media artist.

I have recently taken an early retirement from corporate America. Thank goodness It was a great walk for many years. I learned and loved from the experience I saw many changes that have inspired me in my newest adventures. I feel my golden rule is PEACE and LOVE.. No war please. I have a sign in my yard (complemnts of Move On.org) which reads " BRING THE TROOPS HOME. Stop the War Now!"

I have a dog Sugar and 3 cats Butch, Wilma and Betty. I have a great husband he is an upholsterer so he is also a form of art work - he is very good we recently found a treasure of two chairs from about 1890 sort of parlor room chairs...... he will make the repairs and create his magic and of course I get to pick the fabric or we will do it together....so far one is sitting in my dinning room and the other is in his territory and work space. My studio is very cool lit sits on the third floor of our home the front window is tucked under the roof and then a larger window both large and double hung. There are trees outside each window I feed the birds. I feel like I am in a tree house.
